Perry’s Creek Bridge

Perry’s Creek Bridge (Burleigh Falls, Ontario)

Project Description:

3-span slab-on-girder bridge with a total length of 57.3 m. The construction was scheduled in two stages. The first stage was completed in 2017 and the second stage is in progress. The bridge deck, barrier walls, and approach slabs were reinforced with Grade I straight bars and bends. Over 48,000 m of Tuf-Bar GFRP bars were used (manufactured and supplied by Tuf-Bar Canada) which included:

  • 38,000 m of straight bars, Sizes 15 mm, 20 mm, 25 mm,
  • 10,500 m of bent bars consisting of 13 configurations, Sizes 15 mm and 20 mm.
